We took the girls to their first Jazz game last week. Isabelle loves to watch people so she was pretty entertained for a while well I guess for a couple minutes any way. Olivia loves to dance so she was entertaining the crowd around us lol. We only stayed in our seats for about 20 minutes because there was a baby at the end of our row and Isabelle is OBSESSED with babies. She would not leave this poor mom alone so we left to walk around outside and then we bought the girls some cotton candy. I think that was definitely their favorite part.

Trying to get two 2 year olds to pose for a picture is nearly impossible. I swear all the pictures I take have the back of someone's head in it.

Easter 2013
We had such a fun Easter this year. We went to the Easter Egg Hunt in Morgan and the girls each got an egg but they also each got a basket full of candy. After the Egg Hunt we celebrated Easter with my family. We had dinner and then another Easter Egg Hunt. On Sunday the girls woke up and found their Easter baskets that the Easter Bunny hid for them. Olivia loved finding the baskets but Isabelle was more interested in the candy that the Easter Bunny had scattered in the living room. We went to church and the girls went to nursery all by themselves!!! I was so excited! After church we had dinner with Jase's family and another Easter Egg Hunt. It was so much fun to spend time with both families. The girls love their cousins.

Christmas!
A couple of weeks before Christmas Jase's parents had breakfast for all the grandkids and their cousins and Santa came to visit. They made reindeer pancakes and they each got a santa cup with a straw. They loved it. Isabelle absolutely hated Santa. She screamed the second we sat her on his lap. It made for some pretty classic pics.
We had such a great Christmas this year. The day before Christmas Eve we had the Hansen Christmas party. We are doing Christmas Around the World and this year was Germany. We learned about German traditions and did the nativity. My parents also do a fish pond for the grandkids. I think that's the kids favorite part.

I wasn't able to make it to the Mortenson Family Christmas party this year because the weather was so bad but we were able to make it to Jase's Grandpa's house for their Christmas Eve party. We came home and tried to get the girls to sleep but I guess the excitement of Christmas was too much for Isabelle and she woke up just after Santa had dropped off her presents so she had to sleep in our bed. I was also so excited that I woke up every hour waiting for morning. We got the girls up around 8 and they ran out the the living room and stopped as soon as the saw all the presents sitting on the couch. They didn't really know what to do until we told them to go and play with their toys. We played for a little while and then we headed to my sister's house for Christmas Breakfast. My parents came down after to see the girls presents and then we all took a nice long Christmas nap. We had dinner with Jase's family that night.

October Fun!
It's been a really long time since I've been on here. We had such a fun and busy summer with the girls. They are running all over the place and into everything! Everyone kept telling us it would get easier once they were a year.....not so much lol. Olivia has learned to climb in the last couple of weeks. I turned my back for a second and she was on the table and trying to scale the pantry. Isabelle is a little bit shorter so she's not quite climbing on things but I'm sure she will be in the next couple of weeks. October was such a fun month. The girls absolutely loved all the decorations, costumes and most of all candy. They learned to say trick or treat and pumpkin. They also have learned most of the animal noises and they have such cute and funny personalities. I wouldn't trade having twins for the world even though it can get hard sometimes when they team up on me :) Here are some of the things we did in October.
Jenn's kids raked up a bunch of leaves at my parents house and the girls loved to throw them in the air. It kept them busy for such a long time.
We went to the ward trunk or treat the weekend before Halloween. We had practiced trick or treating all month long. Jase would close the door and I'd have the girls knock and attempt to say trick or treat and Jase would put candy in their basket. They were getting pretty good at it but when we went to the trunk or treat they just stared at all the strange people and didn't even care they they were offering free candy. On Halloween we took them to a couple of the neighbors house and they actually took some candy from a couple houses and they really seemed to like it. Isabelle even said trick or treat to one house. I was such a prould little mommy.

We took the girls to the pumpkin patch to pick out a pumpkin. Isabelle loved the white pumpkin below. Olivia didn't really seem to care too much about the pumpkins. She just wanted to run around.
We went with Jase's parents down to Alpine where they tag their Christmas tree. The girls loved to run around in the "forest" and they are obsessed with pine cones. Isabelle had about 6 that she carried around the whole time.

While I was making a queso for the Osborne Halloween party Olivia snuck into the pantry and took a box of cereal into the play room. I heard a rustling coming from that room and when I went in this is what I found. The whole box of cereal dumped out and the two girls sitting in it chowing down. I love my two little mischevious girls!
Here is our family picture at my parents halloween party. It took quite a bit of begging and a little bit of bribing to get Jase into his costume. So much fun though!

Zoo!
Jase and I took the girls to the Hogle Zoo this last Saturday. They had just opened the new exhibit so the zoo was super packed so it was pretty hard to move our big stroller around. We really thought the girls would like the animals if they moved around and were active but it turns out they didn't really care about anything....But Jase and I still had fun and the new exhibit was really cool.
Looking at the giraffes.
The girls loved this elephant.
Birthday Party!
We had the girls birthday party on May 12th. We did a ladybug theme and it was so much fun. We had Costco pizza (yummy) and breadsticks and of course cupcakes and ice cream. The girls were very spoiled and got a lot of really great presents and got to smash a cake from Nothing Bundt Cake. Delicious! Thanks everyone for coming!
